What Is Programming Boot Camp?

If you’re considering pursuing a graduate degree or master’s degree in computer science and software engineering, but have little or no programming experience, you may need to attend programming boot camp. Programming boot camp is very valuable for Seattle University students who plan on enrolling in a computer science or software engineering program.

The boot camp is a series of three accelerated classes that focus on computer programming. These classes require just 20 hours of classwork outside of the classroom each week. If you don’t have sufficient programming experience to go directly into the graduate program in the College of Science and Engineering, you may be required to attend programming boot camp.

At the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Seattle University, we strive to help our college students to succeed. Whether you’re making a career change or pursuing a graduate degree , we can help you further your academic studies.
