Graduate Project Information for Seattle University’s MAS in Computer Science Program

Participating in the MAS in Computer Science Program at Seattle University, students must complete either a research project or software implementation project to earn their degrees. After taking core courses, students will spend 2-3 semesters completing the project of their choice. The software implementation project involves designing and implementing software that addresses a specific problem. This hands-on experience enhances students’ learning and allows master’s candidates to hone their skills in system design before entering the workforce. The research project option will involve the submission of an in-depth technical report that explores a topic falling into a student’s area of interest. These research projects may consist of framework development, modeling, or measurements and analysis. If you are interested in pursuing your master’s degree in computer science or engineering, Seattle University can provide your graduate education in the technology capital of the Pacific Northwest.
