    Admission Requirements

    The College of Science and Engineering requires applicants to hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. The degree must have been earned from a regionally accredited institution. All post-secondary educational institutions will need to submit your official transcripts, which should reflect a minimum 3.0 GPA. If you are applying to the Master of Software Engineering program, then you should submit a current resume that includes a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in the software industry.     Degree Requirements

    Before applying, you’re encouraged to review the requirements for graduation. Both the computer science and software engineering programs require the successful completion of 47 graduate credits. Computer science students may use up to 10 transfer credits. For both programs, the degree requirements must be completed within six years.

    Course Selections

    As with other graduate programs, students are expected to take certain preparatory and required courses, along with breadth electives and general electives. Students will also complete a capstone graduate project for nine credits. Some of our sample courses include Fundamentals of Algorithms and Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, and Ethics and Professional Issues in Computing.
